Dr Nihir Shah

Dr Shah has been at the heart of Knight Street Dentists since taking over the practice in 2017. He has built a compassionate, friendly and vibrant culture, leading a professional dental team dedicated to delivering high quality care. With more than nine years of experience in designing and creating beautiful smiles, he now balances both the clinical and non-clinical aspects of the practice.

Each morning begins with a moment of reflection on the previous day and careful planning for the one ahead. This helps him navigate challenges, turn them into opportunities and keep the practice running smoothly and efficiently.

Enthusiastic, confident and caring, Dr Shah is particularly passionate about transforming the dental experience for anxious patients. He goes above and beyond to help them feel calm, relaxed and in control, always ensuring that treatments are guided by the best interests of each patient.

Outside of dentistry, Dr Shah enjoys spending time with his young family. He has a creative streak and loves woodworking, cooking and photography. Running is his favourite way to unwind and recharge. A lifelong football fan, he once dreamed of becoming a professional player and is still an enthusiastic Liverpool supporter. High on his bucket list is travelling for one month every year to discover new experiences.

Dr Shah holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Bristol in England and lives by the motto, “Be the change you want to see.”
